WarfieldPLAYING FROM: The great white north!PLATFORMS: PC |
Introduced to gaming when I purchased my first computer in 1992. It came with a castle-building sim demo called "Castles". I found that I enjoyed castle design, managing resources, and defending against uneven odds through superior tactics.
I have played numerous MMORPGs starting with Ultima Online and have found my niche - roleplaying a Dwarf fighter and PvPing as an underdog against the bad guys.
I have been leading a Dwarf guild for eight years and do so mostly to create a virtual club.

Dark Age of Camelot (PC)
"Frustrated by Dwarf NPC killers in EQ, DAoC allowed me to defend them. I enjoyed the seperate PvP zones (frontiers), castle sieges, and ease of getting good gear. PvE was bland compared to EQ. Left due to PvP class balance issues."
Server: Percival
Guild: Champions of Haggerfel
Screen Names: Warfield Goblincleaver Dwarf Warrior (Level 50 RR7)
Dungeons and Dragons Online (PC)
"Best dungeon crawling experience to date, but that's all there is. Equipment was random colored and styled making it hard to get what you wanted. The game felt canned and got old quickly. Though the taverns were great!"
Server: Thelanis
Guild: Stone and Steel
Screen Names: Warfield Goblincleaver Dwarf Paladin (Level 9 Rank1)
Everquest (PC)
"Everquest was the first 3D MMORPG I played. The world was vast. The music, sound effects, and NPC dialogue added to the game's immersiveness. I had always wanted to roleplay a Dwarf and EQ gave me my chance to cleave goblins and play a noble paladin."
Server: Bertoxxulous
Guild: Champions of Brell
Screen Names: Warfield Goblincleaver Dwarf Paladin (Level 58)
Everquest II (PC)
"Challenging PvE and interactive crafting system. Characters looked like plastic despite needing a top end computer. Alot of quests. Arrived late on an established "twink" RP PvP server. Found PvP frustrating as a fighter. PvP in a PvE game sucks."
Server: Venekor
Guild: Stone and Steel
Characters:
Warfield Goblincleaver, Level 43 Dwarf Berserker
Horizons ()
"Terrible graphics, plenty of lag, took forever to log in and equipment looked ugly (football helmets and a full diaper does not look heroic!) It was fun slaying undead in some of the waste lands for a bit."
Server: Expanse
Guild: Stone and Steel
Screen Names: Warfield Goblincleaver Dwarf Warrior (Level 15)
